STELLAAA!!!

We decided we needed a tiny bit of Sunshine (or chlorine and plastic hippos) so we grabbed a weekend at the Kalahari Resort in tropical Sandusky Ohio.

Hank's first impression of our Waterpark Vacation:

I'm 1000% certain that the "Stellaaa!!" is coming from one of two places: His deep love for Tennessee Williams or this episode of Sesame Street where Grover is re-enacting A Streetcar Named Desire...one of those two places.

Kalahari
He likes Skee-ball (he takes after his mother who is a skee-ball shark)

Love is in the air.

Last week we asked Hank who he wanted to give a valentine to and he said "The Moon."

Today at lunch at The Fleetwood, Hank put the mustard and ketchup bottles together and said they were married. The ketchup said "I love you mustard" and the mustard said "I love you too ketchup."

Happy Valentine's Day!

The cat loves this, by the way.

Goodbye January

We've been experiencing a little cabin fever here in Johnsonia.

Our days are spent drawing:
Face
This is a drawing of "Daddy" with two eyes, a nose and a long curved smile that goes in two directions on one side.

Watchin' a little TV

With Eeyore, obviously.

Playing golf

Inventing new games
HoodHoodHood
We invented a game called "HoodHoodHood" where we all wear sweatshirts with hoods, crazy hats and then run around in circles through the house shouting "HoodHoodHood" at the top of our lungs.

It gets boring in Michigan in January.

and building garages for Lightning McQueen and Mater.

Grandma got Hank these awesome Happyville Blocks for Christmas
and we've been building all kinds of cool things.
