Hit. A. Ball.

Hank loves playing baseball. Seriously. Lots of times when he wakes up, the first words out of his mouth are "Hit. A. Ball."

Here's a little movie of what all of our afternoons look like:

I'm pretty impressed (and not just in a Proud Dad way) at his hand-eye coordination. He really looks to see that the ball is on its way and waits to swing until it's in range for the bat.

And all of this at 21 months (not even 2 years old)! Alls I'm saying is that he'll likely peak at age 6 or 7 and end up like The Baumer from The Royal Tennenbaums, removing his shoes and one of his socks at the big game, but we'll love him just the same.

Tigers vs. Indians

We journeyed to the Detroit Tigers game on Saturday. Although it was hot, the weather was great and we saw lots of friends there. Henry got to be up close to Paws (the Tigers mascot) but got kind of freaked out. We'll try again next time.

Joyce bought him a big foam tiger claw and he really enjoyed it.

He also did really well drinking out of a water bottle.
